Traits Launchpad (New)

Crystara's NFT Launchpad allows creators to build traited collections where NFTs can have unique set of traits. With our Traited Collections Launchpad, creators can upload layers and traits, and set custom weights for each trait to appear in the collection.

What are Traited Collections?​

Traited collections are NFT collections where:

  • Each NFT has a unique set of traits or attributes
  • Rarity of each NFT is determined by the combination of its traits

Creating a Traited Collection​

Step 1: Access the Traits & Layers Tool​

Navigate to the Collection Management section in your Creator Dashboard and select the "Add Tokens" tab. Here you'll see a new button beside the original "Upload Tokens" button labeled "Add Traits & Layers".

Step 2: Open the Generative NFT Panel​

Click on "Add Traits & Layers" to open the "Create Generative NFTs" panel. This is where you'll manage your layers and traits.

To add your very first layer, click on "+ Add First Layer".

Step 3: Add Your First Layer​

For each layer:

  1. Type in the Layer Name - this will be added to the NFT's metadata after generation
  2. Set the layer's priority order - this determines the stacking order (higher priority layers appear on top)
  3. Drag and drop the layer's trait images
  4. Click "Add Layer" to save

Step 4: Add Additional Layers and Traits​

Continue adding as many layers and traits as you'd like for your collection. For each layer, you can:

  • Set a unique name
  • Adjust the priority order
  • Upload multiple trait images
  • Set custom weights for each trait

Step 5: Configure Generation Settings​

Once all layers are added, confirm your generation settings:

  • Naming Convention: Set how your NFTs will be named (e.g., "Uglies #{id}")
  • Max NFTs: Determine how many unique combinations to generate
  • Rarity Settings: Choose how rarities are assigned

Crystara is the first NFT Marketplace to introduce on-chain rarities powered by Supra's DVRF Systems. You can use the rarity tiers you defined when creating your collection (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, etc.) directly with the traits launchpad.

Step 6: Preview Generations​

Before finalizing your collection, preview some randomly generated NFTs to ensure the layers combine as expected. You can:

  • View how the traits layer together
  • Check the metadata for each preview NFT
  • Generate new previews until you're satisfied

Step 7: Generate Your Collection​

When you're happy with the previews, click "Generate NFTs" to create your entire collection. Make sure to stay on the page while it finishes generating and uploading the images and metadata.

Step 8: Review and Submit​

After generation is complete, you'll be returned to the Add Tokens tab. Review each generated NFT to ensure quality, then scroll down and click "Submit To Chain" to finalize your collection.s

Advanced Options​

For technical creators, you can edit each NFT's metadata directly by clicking the ">" button on a specific NFT. This allows for fine-tuning of attributes, descriptions, and other metadata fields.
